Summer Mini Camps
TVES will be offering something fun to do every week!! Your child must be LVS through 3rd grade to participate in the mini camps. Therefore, any current Little Viking School student - current 3rd grade child may participate. Students that are enrolled in the full daycare will automatically be able to participate in the mini camps as part of their weekly fee.
We will have our staff members teach the weekly mini camps and they will be able to offer enrichment activities for our children based upon the weekly theme. Below, you will find a listing of all classes and a brief description.
Hours: Beginning the week of June 3rd-through August 2nd, we will be offering morning (9:00 am-11:00 am) and afternoon (1:00 pm-3:00 pm) mini camps. Monday through Friday. You may drop off your child for morning camps at 8:50 and 12:50 for afternoon camps. This allows the mini camp to promptly start.
Cost: The cost for mini camp will be $100 per child, per week. The payment for the camp will be paid online through the RevTrack system once you place your reservation. Once the child starts the weeklong mini camp, refunds will not be issued.
Registration: For each week, we will have a maximum number of children that can participate. The maximum number will vary throughout the summer based upon the weekly theme. Please register as early as possible to guarantee a spot for your child. Here is a link to the website: https://trivalley.revtrak.net/RW-Summer-Care-Camps Once the mini camp is “full” for that week, we will not be able to let additional children participate. As you scroll through the weekly options, you will find a weblink to the registration form. You will sign up for the mini camp using the Revtack program. The district uses this program for the online registration and payments for all Little Viking Care programs and the before/after school care program. Payments will be made once you sign up for the camp you wish to participate in.
Discipline: Please note that this is a privilege for our children to participate in the mini camps, not a right. Children are expected to follow rules and guidelines set forth by our school handbook and program instructors. In the event that the behavior issues cannot be resolved, we reserve the right to dismiss a child from the mini camp for unsatisfactory behavior.
All will be held at the elementary. This is just a description of the class. We will have lots of fun activities planned for each week.
